Words of Allah in surah al-Hujuraat, verse 13:
“O people, We have created you male and female, and have made you peoples and tribes that you may know each other. Indeed, the most honorable of you in the sight of Allah is the most fearful of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Knowing.” 13
He means: “Oh mankind! Indeed We have created you from male and female, and We have made you of various races and tribes, so that you may know each other (and be friendly with one another). Verily the noblest of you in the sight of Allah is the one who has more piousness among you (not more in lineage or race). Indeed Allah is All-Knowing and Extensive in His Knowledge (of your circumstances and deeds)”.
Representing the Prime Minister, Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim, the Government of Malaysia would like to record the highest appreciation and gratitude to the Prime Minister of Cambodia for inviting the Government of Malaysia to join the Iftar Ceremony of Negara Cambodia .
Alhamdulillah this Iftar ceremony that was attended together with a group of scientists and Islamic society in Cambodia has taken place in a harmonious atmosphere.
Religious and ethnic differences do not become a barrier for a society to live in a united and peaceful state.
This is also the content of Islamic teachings that governs so that Muslims respect each other, respect and unite.
I and all the people of Malaysia always pray that Cambodia continues to be peaceful and prosperous.
Hopefully the good relationship of Cambodia and Malaysia will continue to be intact for mutual benefit.
